Moreover, IAD is specialized in restoring and repairing decorations located in ancient villas and buildings by using traditional methods and materials like gypsum, stucco and lime.

Our wide range of decoration production can be used for false and suspended ceilings, stages (theatres), walls.

Italian Art Decoration's range of offerings is characterised by both a set of classical, standard elements, as presented in our catalogues, and custom-made elements, devised in fully accordance with our clients' desires in terms of design, style, materials to be used.
The first step towards the implementation of the intervention involves defining the executive project through the creation of drawings.

Drawings are usually elaborated by specific design programs but, when it is needed, handmade sketches and models are developped. The skills and the abilities of IAD's staff, together with a continous research for innovation, allow us to elaborate solutions for the most complex and delicate needs of designers and architects. The definition of an executive project begins with site inspections and surveys carried out at the construction site by using 2d machinery or 3d scanners in order to obtain scrupulous and entirely truthful measurements. During this phase, we elaborate axonometries, prospects and maps of each surface where later sizes and dimensions of smooth areas, false ceilings and false walls will be quoted and added. These represent the base upon which later on decorations will be attached. The second step when defining the executive project consists in adding all the ornaments, wall by wall and ceiling by ceiling, in order to achieve a precise and complete mapping that will guide us through the installation of the decorative structure.

IAD's decorations are then manufactured by a skilled group of master modellers, professionals who have dedicated their lives to the art of decoration and whose works are able to convey harmony of the composition and quality of style, materials and working techniques. All these have always been the key features of IAD's interventions.

The installation of plaster gypsum elements is a fundamental step for the project to succeed. For this reason, IAD only relies on a loyal and professional staff and collaborators, whose working performances are well known and consolidated, and with whom we work hand in hand in order to find the most innovative techniques for the development of easier installation processes.
